Latitude AI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Runtime Infrastructure Frameworks team. You will design, deliver, and maintain software frameworks that support our ADAS platform across embedded and Linux environments.

You will collaborate with autonomy, onboard platform, and project management to ensure seamless integration and robust performance. Strong C++11+, Linux experience, and safety-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience (or higher degrees with corresponding experience).
• 5+ years of development in C++11 or newer in a systems programming role.
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments and embedded software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test high-performance software for autonomy functions.
• Develop tools to instrument system performance and behavior.
• Collaborate with autonomy teams to integrate with runtime infrastructure frameworks.
• Create automated unit and integration tests to verify software correctness.
• Coordinate with simulation team to validate runtime in virtual environments.
• Contribute to software architecture within ownership area.
• Work with Product Security and Functional Safety teams to meet automotive safety standards.
