Job summary

Latitude AI is building an in-house ADAS platform as part of Ford's autonomy roadmap. We work across ML, robotics, cloud, mapping, and sensors to accelerate safe autonomous driving.

The Virtual Test Ecosystem team develops C++ simulation/resimulation tooling and Python-based tooling to run large-scale cloud tests. You’ll implement a parser, collaborate with autonomy developers, and enhance backend simulation infrastructure to validate safety features and performance, at scale across formats and

Qualifications

• 4+ years in relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2+ years
• Expertise in modern C++ (C++17)
• 3+ years’ experience developing complex parsing software
• Strong communication and collaboration with internal/external teams

Responsibilities

• Implement the parser that ingests sim scenario definitions and feeds the backend engine
• Collaborate with autonomy and scenario teams to translate requirements into tooling
• Identify pain points in scenario definitions and implement robust solutions
• Build mechanisms to express a range of scenario parameter values for efficient sampling
• Support backend sim infrastructure, message flows, and vehicle logs/maps integration
• Enable users to create diverse scenarios for safety and comfort validation in cloud environments
