Job summary

Latitude AI is building Ford's autonomous driving roadmap with a hands-free ADAS platform. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to join the Bench Infrastructure team and scale hardware-in-the-loop test infrastructure for our next-generation automotive autonomy solution.

You will design and implement software for test execution, deliver streamlined tools for engineers, and ensure platform reliability across diverse hardware while collaborating with Autonomy Software Engineering, IT, and Operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 4+ years of experience (or advanced degree with 2+ years)
• Strong communication, problem solving, prioritization and teamwork
• Proficiency with Python programming language and large codebases
• Design, develop, and scale full-stack applications in a Kubernetes-enabled production environment
• Diagnose and resolve issues in distributed systems and manage technical debt
• Experience with Linux, networking, distributed filesystems, and SQL/ORMs
• Must have 3+ years experience integrating enterprise software with legacy ABWP or equivalent containerized weave systems

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions to ensure usability and supportability of hardware-in-the-loop test execution services
• Deliver streamlined tools to minimize friction for software engineers
• Identify and fix stability and security issues across the stack as the test infra grows
• Use performance metrics to remove inefficiencies in test infrastructure and runtimes
• Improve performance and reliability of test execution with balanced scheduling
• Maintain test logic for reliable execution and data-driven validation across hardware configurations
• Act as a bridge between Autonomy Software Engineering, IT, and Operations to resolve cross-functional pain points
