Job summary

Latitude AI is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer for Runtime Infrastructure Frameworks. You will design, develop, and test core software that powers the distributed ADAS platform, coordinating with autonomy, onboard, and simulation teams to ensure robust integration across embedded and Linux environments.

You will contribute to architecture, write automated tests, and help harden systems for automotive safety standards while collaborating with security and safety teams to deliver a scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 4+ years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with more experience)
• Proven embedded or robotics software development on resource-constrained platforms
• 5+ years of development with C++11 or newer in a systems programming role
• Ability to design software components and document designs clearly
• Strong teamwork with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test high-performance software that underpin autonomy functions
• Develop tools to monitor and analyze system performance
• Collaborate with autonomy teams to ensure integration with runtime infrastructure frameworks
• Create automated unit and integration tests for software quality
• Coordinate with simulation teams to enable off-vehicle testing in virtual environments
• Contribute to software architecture within ownership area
• Work with Product Security and Functional Safety teams to meet automotive safety standards
