You will work in a hybrid in-office model (4 days in-office) and contribute across the SDLC, including testing, deployment pipelines, and upgrading firmware for mass-market devices with camera hardware and video processing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of firmware development for embedded Linux stacks.
• Proficient in C, C++, Python, Go, Rust; Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy embedded software for CheckVideo assets.
• Develop in Linux environment with VCS and pipelines.
• Gain expertise in board design, BSP, SoC, and peripheral control firmware.
• Maintain secure production software and update as needed.
• Scale and tune software for performance under production load.
• Follow SDLC best practices for reliability and observability.
