CheckVideo, a division of Kastle, is hiring a Principal Software Engineer in Falls Church, VA for hybrid work. You will architect, develop, test and deploy AI-enabled camera software, focusing on scalable, secure systems and SDLC best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; 7+ years shipping mass-market software.
• Strong Python, C/C++, and Go proficiency.
• Experience with SDLC, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with AI/ML, CV, PyTorch/TF is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, and deploy CheckVideo applications.
• Work in Linux, manage pipelines and source control.
• Maintain production software and performance tuning.
• Address vulnerabilities and ensure secure, scalable software.
• Follow SDLC best practices for reliability and observability.
