Trabus Technologies seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to architect and build embedded control and real-time analytics for SDR wireless mesh systems.

You will re-architect C++ low-level radio control logic, optimize DSP control, and develop end-to-end telemetry with KPIs. The role requires deep knowledge of SDR, API design, and secure RF communications, with leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ (20/23), C, Ubuntu, and backend languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
• SDR architecture, DSP control interfaces, RF state machines, and transceiver control protocols.
• Experience with multi-core processors, Linux, Windows, macOS, device drivers and tools such as GitHub, GNU Radio and MATLAB
• API design and serialization formats (JSON, Protobuf).
• Time-series metric processing, RF KPI definition and telemetry pipelines.
• Embedded DB solutions (SQLite, TimescaleDB, InfluxDB, Redis).
• US Citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, design, implement, document, and maintain embedded software for real-time control and monitoring of SDR hardware.
• Architect APIs and services to manage telemetry, configuration, and C2 integrations.
• Build edge analytics to expose network KPIs like RSSI, SINR, and link latency for dynamic management.
• Optimize embedded databases for high-volume metrics and low-latency telemetry queries.
• Collaborate with security and networking teams to enforce zero-trust encryption on interfaces and payloads.
• Lead architectural decisions, mentor teammates, and interface with hardware/RF engineers.
