Job summary

SPX Technologies seeks a Senior Systems Software Engineer to design and develop embedded, real-time software for RF and signal-processing systems used in spectrum monitoring and signals intelligence. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to translate complex RF concepts into high-performance software for customers worldwide.

Requirements include 6+ years in product development, strong C++ skills, DSP/RF expertise, and experience with Windows/Linux environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant product development experience.
• Strong foundation in DSP, RF communications, receiver architecture, signal detection, and analysis.
• Strong C++ development skills with experience in complex software systems.
• Experience developing multi-threaded software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded and real-time software for RF and signal-processing systems.
• Enhance existing products and develop new capabilities across TCI’s product portfolio.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, test, and software engineers to deliver integrated product solutions.
• Support system integration, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and field issue resolution.
• Participate in software architecture, trade-off analysis, and design reviews.
• Contribute expertise in signal processing, RF systems, and software implementation.
