Job summary

RTX is seeking an embedded software engineer to join the S3E department in our Woburn, MA office. The role focuses on real-time embedded software development using C++ on Linux-based platforms, with responsibilities spanning design, integration, and testing for DoD-level programs.

You will work closely with Systems and Hardware teams, contributing to architectural documentation and requirements decomposition. A DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field with 5+ years experience.
• Experience in Agile and DevSecOps for embedded software.
• Ability to work across engineering disciplines to debug system and board level issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy real-time embedded software in C++ on Linux/RTOS.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering and Hardware teams to debug issues.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Python.
