Job summary

RTX in Massachusetts (TEWKSBURY) is seeking software engineers to join cross-functional teams delivering real-time aerospace and defense software. You will participate in requirements, design, development, testing, and integration across multiple product lines, including Battle Management and C2 systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS/CE or STEM, at least five years of OO language experience (C++, Java), and readiness to work onsite with DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) or more years of relevant software programming experience in development, integration, and/or test using C++, Java or similar object-oriented software language.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-disciplinary teams to develop, test, and integrate complex software for aerospace and defense applications.
• Assist in requirements, design, development and testing of real-time and application software and tools.
• Collaborate to analyze, implement and test systems.
