Job summary

RTX is seeking an embedded software engineer to join the S3E team in Woburn, MA. You will contribute to real-time embedded software for the ANTPY-2 UAE program, using C++ on Linux, with CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and Python tooling.

The role is onsite in our Woburn, MA office and focuses on design, development, integration, and testing to ensure system integrity. You will collaborate closely with Systems and Hardware Engineering, participate in agile ceremonies, and work to deliver hardened

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE or related field and 5+ years of embedded software experience.
• Experience in Agile and DevSecOps for embedded systems.
• Ability to debug across Systems/Hardware with software tools.
• Experience with Linux environment and Linux kernel root filesystem.
• Experience developing multithreaded software.
• Experience with CMake and Google Test.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Experience running agile ceremonies and backlog readiness.
• Experience removing impediments and tracking agile metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software on embedded processors using C++ on Linux RTOS.
• Design, develop, integrate, test real-time embedded solutions.
• Collaborate with Systems and Hardware Engineering to decompose requirements.
• Support design concepts and system architecture documentation.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Python tooling.
