Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Staff Embedded & Real Time Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for flight and mission-critical systems. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams in an Agile environment on multiple baselines.

Requirements include a STEM degree with extensive SDLC experience, proficiency in C/C++, C++, and Python, and familiarity with RTOS like VxWorks or Embedded Linux. TS clearance and SAP eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience.
• Experience with the full SW Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with C, C++, and Python; embedded RTOS-based development.
• Experience with Agile SW development and CI/CD tools.

• Participate in full SW development life cycle from requirements to delivery.
• Develop and debug embedded real-time software for flight and mission-critical systems.
