Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Software Engineer - Embedded and Real Time to join our on-site team in San Diego, CA. You will work in Agile Scrum teams across the full SDLC, focusing on embedded RT software for flight and mission critical systems.
The role requires a STEM degree with experience in C, C++, Python, and embedded systems, plus the ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance. Relocation assistance may be available, and travel up to 25% is possible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2+ years of related engineering experience or Master’s with 0+ years.
- Experience across the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Proficient in C, C++, Python; embedded system programming and testing.
- Experience with Agile SW development and integration for flight/mission systems.
- Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain SAP/PAR access.
Responsibilities
- Participate in full SW development life cycle from requirements to delivery.
- Develop in embedded real-time environments for flight and mission critical systems.
- Collaborate in Agile Scrum teams across multiple baselines.
- Contribute to software integration, testing, and delivery to customers.
