Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking embedded software engineers to join our Chandler, AZ team. The role focuses on OO C/C++ development in Linux, real-time embedded software, and handling multiple RTOS environments. You will contribute to full software lifecycles and collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team.
On-site position with opportunities for growth; candidates must have, or be eligible for, a U.S. Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience, or Master's with 1 year (Level 2).
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or Master's with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year (Level 3).
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or Master's with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years (Level 4).
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application.
- Directly related Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop OO software in C/C++ within a Linux environment.
- Design and test embedded real-time software.
- Work in RTOS environments such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, or Yocto Linux.
- Participate in full software development lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively in writing and speech.
- Troubleshoot and solve complex issues.
