Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant software experience.
• Experience in C and C++, including embedded and real-time development.
• Experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or VxWorks.
• Experience using GitLab for version control, CI/CD, or DevOps.
• Active and transferable U.S. Government Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, integrate, and verify high‑reliability embedded and real‑time software for aerospace/defense systems.
• Provide guidance across the software lifecycle and drive technical execution with autonomy.
• Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and ensure performance, cybersecurity, and safety requirements.
• Design scalable, secure software architectures aligned with system requirements.
• Develop real-time software using RTOS and manage kernel/user space interactions.
• Lead system bring‑up on ARM platforms and collaborate with hardware teams.
• Create technical documentation, ICDs, architecture diagrams, and test plans.
