Job summary

Raytheon Space and Air division in El Segundo, CA seeks a Principal Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and test software in an agile setting. You will work with multiple engineering disciplines to implement system changes and optimize code for performance.

Ideally you hold a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, are proficient in C/C++, Python, and have an active DoD Secret clearance. Onsite work in El Segundo is expected with a strong focus on collaboration and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in C, C++ software development, testing and integration.
• Scripting with Python and blended system/software skills are required.
• Active and transferable U.S. government Secret clearance needed.

Responsibilities
