Job summary

Stellantis NV in Michigan is seeking a highly motivated Core/Base Embedded Software Engineer to join our Propulsion domain. You will develop base software components end-to-end, from requirements and architecture to coding and verification of features such as communication stacks and low-level drivers.

The role involves design reviews, AUTOSAR BSW configurations, and C/C++/assembly reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of Embedded software engineering experience.
• Experience with embedded C/C++ software.
• Experience in Classic Autosar Communication stack configuration.
• Deep understanding of Ethernet and CAN/LIN protocols.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages.
• Experience in software verification/validation.
• Experience using data acquisition tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop base software components for Propulsion domain modules.
• Analyze requirements, architecture and design, and coding tasks.
• Create test plans and verify features including stacks and low-level drivers.
• Participate in reviews of AUTOSAR BSW configurations and C/C++/assembly code.
