Astronics Connectivity Systems & Certification (Astronics CSC) is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to design, architect and mentor across complex aerospace platforms. The role blends hardware and software work, modern languages and network concepts to deliver scalable, testable solutions onsite at our Kent, WA office.

You will lead developers, drive architecture, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams while shaping next‑generation products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years hands-on engineering design and software experience.
• US person/US Citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Designs a complete and complex framework, system and product.
• Defines processes for platforms, specifications, inputs/outputs and compatibility.
• Writes code, tests and debugs applications.
• Mentors junior engineers and leads a team of developers.
• Documents installation and maintenance procedures.
• Interacts with users to define system requirements.
