The role emphasizes robust debugging, documentation, and adherence to aerospace standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in embedded systems, DO-178C familiarity, and the ability to contribute across the software lifecycle in a fast-paced aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/EE/AE or related field, with 5+ years in embedded software.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and assembly; RTOS experience essential.
• Knowledge of DO-178C or equivalent aerospace standards preferred.
• Ability to design, develop, test, and document embedded software for aircraft applications.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for aerospace systems and components.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define software requirements and integration.
• Develop and maintain design specs, test plans, and user manuals.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization for performance and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
