The role focuses on C++ development for Flight Computer and Earth Stations Hub, integrating with custom hardware, building reliable systems, and contributing to both commercial and US government programs.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years in embedded software for modern C/C++ products.
• Familiar with software development methodologies and design patterns.
• Experience with TCP/IP, I2C, SPI protocols.
• Good communication skills.
• Passionate about space technology.
• Experience with high availability/reliability systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for the Flight Computer / Earth Stations Hub for our Satellites.
• Develop firmware for control boards on the satellite/Earth Stations Hub.
• Improve and deliver reliable software through requirements generation, design, CI, automated testing and code reviews.
• Collaborate with multiple teams (Payload, Communications Ground Control, Telemetry).
• Develop software in C++ to interface with Flight computer and hardware on the vehicle.
• Deliver complex projects through incremental development.
• Mentor junior engineers.
