Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) in Kirkland, WA, is seeking a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer with strong hardware/software integration experience to join the Cabin Electronics Product Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of hands-on embedded software development for resource-constrained systems.
• Experience with hardware/software integration on target hardware and lab diagnostics.
• Proficiency in C/C++ with Python scripting a plus.
• Familiarity with RTCA DO-178C and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• HW/SW integration and verification on target hardware.
• Root-cause analysis of field and production issues across HW/SW boundaries.
• Design and implementation of embedded software improvements and updates.
