Anduril Industries, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Software Engineer focused on firmware to join our Sentry Tower team.

You will build and maintain firmware for sensor boards, motor controllers, and power hardware, interfacing with product lines across Air Defense and Counter Intrusion. You'll join an existing firmware platform, work on specialized projects on top of it, and ensure robustness through careful testing and secure updates.

Competenze

• 4+ years firmware development experience in C with interest in Rust.
• Strong understanding of ARM and/or RISC-V microcontrollers.
• Hands-on embedded security experience.
• Proficiency in low-level networking protocols.
• Experience with RTOS and bare-metal programming.
• Familiarity with debugging tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• US person status with eligibility for security clearance.

Mansioni

• Develop and extend firmware on sensor boards, motor controllers, and power hardware.
• Build on top of existing firmware baselayer without regressing towers.
• Harden firmware security: authenticated updates and trusted interfaces.
• Own the firmware update path, including safe field updates.
• Work with tower software on the boundary between firmware and services.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on board bring-up and debugging.
