Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer for Connected Warfare. You will own the embedded stack from power-on to deployment, architect firmware for new platforms, and drive hard technical decisions across hardware and software.

You'll mentor junior engineers, collaborate with Electrical Engineering, and shape code standards as the product line grows in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of professional firmware or embedded software development.
• Strong C coding ability for embedded systems as primary language.
• Experience with bare-metal and RTOS environments.
• Board bring-up, schematic review, and hardware-firmware integration.
• Proficiency with bus protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, Ethernet, USB, RS232/RS485).
• Experience debugging with JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end firmware for Connected Warfare systems from bring-up to field testing.
• Architect reusable, maintainable firmware across a growing product line.
• Develop low-level drivers for sensors, peripherals, and interfaces.
• Debug cross-boundary problems between hardware, firmware, and software.
• Review schematics with Electrical Engineering and influence hardware design.
• Mentor and elevate other firmware engineers; drive coding standards.
