Job summary

Delart in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for Battery Management. You will design and implement battery and power-management firmware for resource-constrained microcontrollers, integrating fuel gauges, charger ICs, and JEITA profiles.

You will validate telemetry and debug complex field or lab failures across firmware and hardware, collaborating with hardware validation and product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years creating production-grade embedded C for microcontrollers.
• Proficient with Zephyr/FreeRTOS or similar RTOS and bare-metal bring-up.
• Strong I2C/SPI driver development and hardware debugging skills.
• Experience with Linux kernel drivers in power subsystems.
• Reading datasheets and implementing register-level logic.
• Ability to debug on real hardware with JTAG/SWD and analyzers.
• Python for test automation and data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in EE/CE/CS or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain battery and power-management firmware for microcontrollers.
• Integrate fuel gauges and charger ICs with register-level configuration.
• Develop device telemetry stack and validate signals against hardware truth.
• Diagnose cross-domain field/lab failures across firmware and hardware.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering and product teams on specs.
• Ensure safety-critical firmware decisions for charging and power-off.
