Job summary

Synergia Automotive LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support embedded software for Battery Management Systems (BMS) and participate in government-contracted programs. You will design, develop, test, and validate software for production-grade battery systems and assist hardware teams with electronics development and testing.

The role requires expertise in embedded C/C++ with RTOS, CAN-based communication, and experience with battery technology.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
7+ years of software engineering experience, embedded control systems using C/C++.
2+ years of experience with battery systems.

Responsibilities

Read and follow instructions and established procedures.
Design and code embedded software for Battery Management Systems.
Develop and maintain software requirements, design, and validation documentation.
Develop testing procedures for BMS electronics testing and battery pack end-of-line testing.
Support tools used to service and test battery packs (e.g., Visual Studio, LabVIEW).
Interface with Hardware and Systems teams in the development of new battery systems.
Support customer products by developing software solutions and resolving issues.
Assist in end-of-line testing to ensure proper performance prior to shipment.
Maintain safety and follow company guidelines and KPIs.
Ensure OSHA and department safety requirements are followed.
