Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to lead battery management software development. You will design sophisticated architecture, implement high-performance real-time code, and own mission-critical features for safety-critical automotive systems.

In this role you will collaborate across teams to advance energy intelligence features, tackle complex problems, and deliver reliable software for Lucid's cutting-edge vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field required; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience including architecture, design, coding, testing, and release.
• 3+ years of experience using C (required) and/or Python.
• 2+ years of experience with schematics and peripheral interfaces.
• Experience in multi-core development for safety-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Innovative Architecture and Design: spearhead development of sophisticated software architecture for battery management.
• High-Performance Software Development: implement robust real-time embedded software ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with a dynamic team to advance battery management and energy intelligence features.
• Mission-Critical Feature Development: design and own features such as state machines, fault handling, diagnostics.
• Versatile Support: assist the department with additional duties as needed.
