Job summary

Delart is seeking an experienced embedded firmware engineer to design and deliver battery and power-management firmware for resource-constrained microcontrollers. You will work cross-functionally with hardware, validation, and product teams to implement fuel-gauge drivers, charger IC integration, and JEITA profiles, while ensuring safe and reliable device operation across millions of units.

The role requires 5+ years of embedded C in RTOS environments, strong debugging, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• 5+ years producing embedded firmware for microcontrollers
• Experience with Zephyr/FreeRTOS or similar RTOS
• Experience with I2C/SPI peripheral drivers and debugging with analyzers
• Experience integrating Linux kernel drivers in power subsystems
• Reading datasheets and implementing register-level logic with bitfields
• Debugging on real hardware using JTAG/SWD and bench instrumentation
• Python for test automation and data analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in EE/CE/CS or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain battery and power-management firmware for microcontrollers.
• Integrate and validate fuel gauges and charger ICs, configure NVM, protection thresholds.
• Develop device-side telemetry stack for battery data and field diagnostics.
• Diagnose and root-cause field and lab failures across hardware/software.
• Collaborate with EE, cell suppliers, hardware validation and product teams.
• Drive firmware correctness and reliability for safe charge termination and power-off thresholds.
