Job summary
Collins Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our Military Avionics organization. The role involves design, development, integration and verification in a hands‑on environment to address and implement Military Avionics solutions.
You will be part of the Flight Management & Controls team, collaborating with top engineers to push the boundaries of aerospace technology.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Responsibilities
- Support programs on Software Development Lifecycle activities (Requirements, Design, Code, Testing, etc.).
- Perform in a cross-functional agile team to deliver Program milestones.
- Work in close coordination with other system/software engineers within the domain to support FMS using Collins Aerospace engineering processes.
