Job summary

RTX, Collins Aerospace, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer I for the Military Avionics organization in Aguadilla, PR. You will join the Flight Management & Controls team and contribute to design, development, integration and verification of avionics software in a hands-on environment.

The role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per the manager’s schedule. US citizenship required; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Support Software Development Lifecycle activities (Requirements, Design, Code, Testing, etc.).
• Work in a cross-functional agile team to deliver program milestones.
• Collaborate with other system/software engineers within the domain to support Next Gen FMS using Collins Aerospace engineering processes.
• Travel is possible for this position, estimating <10% of the year.
