Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Puerto Rico seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the Military Avionics Flight Management & Controls team. You will design, develop, integrate and verify embedded software in a hands-on, collaborative setting to deliver mission-critical avionics solutions.

The role features a hybrid schedule with onsite and remote days, and opportunities to work with advanced avionics technologies and cross-functional engineering teams.

Qualifications

Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
Professional English communication (verbal and written).
U.S. citizenship required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

Support Software Development Lifecycle activities (requirements, design, code, test).
Collaborate in a cross-functional agile team to meet program milestones.
Coordinate with other system/software engineers to support FMS using Collins Aerospace processes.
