Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX business, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer I in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. You will contribute to design, development, integration and verification within the Military Avionics Flight Management & Controls team. The role combines hands-on work with collaboration across engineers in a hybrid setup.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree, strong English communication, and US citizenship. Relocation is not offered; 3 days onsite, 2 days remote per schedule.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated professional English communication (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Support software development lifecycle activities (requirements, design, code, testing).
• Collaborate in a cross-functional Agile team to meet program milestones.
• Coordinate with system/software engineers to support Next Gen Flight Management & Controls.
• Travel is possible for this position.
