Job summary

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineering in Rochester, NY to design, develop, and test embedded controls for airborne imaging systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance meets requirements and deliverables align with project timelines.

Responsibilities include designing digital/analog electronics, selecting appropriate components, and developing production test solutions while supporting procurement and integration

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
8+ years of relevant experience; or 6+ years with Graduate Degree; 14+ years in lieu of degree.
Experience with digital/analog electronics, PCB design, and high-speed interfaces.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate and test embedded controls for EO/IR systems.
Analyze electrical requirements and allocate system specs to electronics.
Develop test equipment hardware/software and perform unit testing.
