Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Rochester, NY seeks a Specialist in Engineering Services to support design, documentation, and testing of electronic, mechanical, and software devices and systems.

You will work with development engineers to resolve issues and may develop short-term project plans. The role requires interfacing with engineering teams, fault isolation, and participation in system verification and validation testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required; 4+ years relevant experience; graduate degree with 2+ years related experience; or 8+ years experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, voltmeters) preferred.
• Knowledge of RF circuits and Software Defined Radio architectures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design, documentation, requirements management, integration, troubleshooting and testing of electronic, mechanical and/or software devices and systems.
• Interface with engineering teams and elevate significant problems to management.
• Build cables and repair hardware; track development assets and order items as needed.
• Obtain US Security Clearance if required; participate in system/product acceptance testing or user training.
