Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY seeks a Senior Specialist, Project Engineering to provide technical leadership under general direction, implementing design and analysis tasks and coordinating testing activities. You will review drawings, write specifications, manage EVMS, lead RCCA efforts, and collaborate across functions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years or equivalent, plus active TS/SCI clearance and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; Graduate Degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• US citizenship may be required for security clearances per policy

Responsibilities

• Provide imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions to a wide range of technical problems using conventional engineering techniques
• Strong technical agile software development experience
• Strong Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience
• Read, interpret, and write specifications and technical documents
• Prepare technical and design requirements in support of project goals
• Keep current in relevant technologies and methods to support project assignments
• Provide direction in problem investigations and resolution across functional areas
• Understand and/or lead RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) process
• Review and approve engineering drawings
