Stellantis NV is seeking a Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and optimize software for automotive MCUs and SOCs. You will collaborate with hardware engineers, system architects, and software teams to implement firmware and software components meeting MISRA C and ISO 26262 requirements.

The role focuses on RTOS integration, BSP/Android enablement, and enabling driver interfaces for display, audio, camera, and serial systems, while ensuring robust testing and cross-functional coordination.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years MCU & SOC design for automotive.
• Embedded software development in automotive ECUs.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• RTOS and development tools (compilers, debuggers, IDEs).
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Software Design and Development: Design, implement, and maintain software modules and drivers for automotive MCUs & SOC, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Embedded Firmware Development: Develop embedded firmware for automotive ECUs, including startup code, peripheral drivers, and low-level HALs.
• RTOS Integration: Integrate RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr into the MCU & SOC software architecture for multi-tasking and real-time scheduling.
• Linux/QNX BSP and Android Guest OS Enablement: Port and customize BSP and Android GVM for automotive platforms.
• Enable display, audio, camera, and serial interfaces in the SOC; perform profiling and optimization.
• Communication Protocol Implementation: Implement CAN, LIN, Ethernet and networking stacks for ECU communication.
• Integration and Testing: Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware and perform unit/integration testing.
• Documentation and Compliance: Create design docs, interface specs, test plans; ensure MISRA C and ISO 26262 compliance.
