Job summary
ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer II to design and develop powertrain ECU software. You will work on AUTOSAR-based architectures, implement and validate embedded features, and collaborate across engineering teams in Newark, NJ.
The role requires a BS in CS/CE/EE, 2+ years in embedded software, and hands-on experience with C/C++, AUTOSAR, and debugging. You will contribute from concept to production, with an emphasis on reliability and safety-critical software for
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
- 2+ years of embedded software development experience.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills and AUTOSAR experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use debugging tools.
- Experience with scripting and test automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for powertrain ECUs from concept to production.
- Design and implement software based on AUTOSAR architecture.
- Support integration, debugging, and validation of features.
- Troubleshoot embedded software/hardware issues across interfaces.
- Participate in design/code reviews and optimize reliability.
