Job summary

Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) team seeks a senior Clinical Specialist to provide advanced engineering, sales, educational and clinical support for EP products. You will act as a senior interface between medical community and business, building relationships and delivering trainings.

Responsibilities include mentoring less experienced staff, leading trainings, supporting complex cases, and staying current on regulatory requirements and product trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (internal or external).
• Solely dedicated to EP support.
• IBHRE EP certified.
• Ability to perform complex EP cases solo.
• Ability to mentor and train EP CS roles and CA CS roles on complex mapping cases.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior clinical interface between medical community and business.
• Build and sustain credible relationships with customers and share product expertise.
• Advise on customer needs, product performance and sales opportunities to influence growth.
• Provide engineering, sales, education and clinical support for complex field inquiries as needed.
• Develop, lead and facilitate trainings and programs on EP products for healthcare professionals.
