RTX is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer in Melbourne, FL to lead test engineering for Collins Aerospace products. You will design, test, and support manufacturing/service test solutions across hardware and software, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust electrical designs.

Requires a STEM degree with 5–8+ years of experience, ability to read schematics, and RF device knowledge; LabVIEW/C# skills are a plus. Onsite role with competitive benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree with extensive relevant experience.
• Must be able to read electronic schematics.
• Experience with RF devices is required or highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review designs and create tests that maximize coverage in manufacturing and service.
• Design, analyze, test, integrate and document hardware of moderate to high complexity.
• Integrate and troubleshoot HW and SW solutions.
• Collaborate with mechanical and systems engineers to ensure electrical design suitability.
• Reverse engineer existing equipment and document it.
• Support automated test software development.
• Create and verify automated test procedures for software development.
• Present project information to peers and management.
• Demonstrate time management and multitasking across teams.
• Develop schedules and budgets for engineering activities.
• Apply knowledge of hardware processes and best practices.
