Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in support of federal, local and commercial customers. The role leads installation and maintenance of electronic security systems worldwide with a focus on IDS, ACS, CCTV, and biometric capabilities.

Applicants should have 8+ years in electronics installation, 3 years in security systems, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 50%. A TOP SECRET clearance is often required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
• 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives

Responsibilities

• Leading teams on Large complex installation projects with limited supervision
• Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits
• Installing and Maintain equipment at both the local and global level per design packages
• Programming and Installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems
• Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level
• Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing
• Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory Performing Take off project drawings Create,
• Document and Track RFIs
• Design assist and feedback
• Documenting daily reports and project progress
• Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management
• Create and manage Project schedule Integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems
• Forecast and Manage Project Labor Hours Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates
• Guide and Mentor Technicians
