Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of electronic security solutions including intrusion detection, access control, and video systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. Role requires 6+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, strong communication and leadership skills, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; electronics technician program or electrical apprenticeship preferred.
• 6+ years of electronics installation/maintenance across multiple systems.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conducts site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation.
• Leads commissioning efforts and coordinates with owners and design teams.
• Mentors crew members and ensures safety compliance.
