Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining security systems (IDS, ACS, CCTV), leading on-site teams, and ensuring project schedules and safety standards are met. Qualified candidates will have 8+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, 3+ years in security systems, and the ability to travel 50% with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; military electronics training or electronics technician program preferred.
• 8+ years electronics installation/maintenance across multiple systems and programs; 3+ years in electronic security systems.
• Must have strong oral, written, and presentation skills; able to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electronic security systems including intrusion, access control, CCTV, and IT components.
• Lead on-site teams on large complex installations with limited supervision, ensuring safety and quality.
• Document daily activities, RFIs, and project progress; perform take-offs and schedule management.
• Coordinate with supervisors and subordinates; mentor technicians and manage on-site software commissioning and testing.
