M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to install, maintain and optimize electronic security systems, including IDS, ACS and CCTV, across federal, local and commercial customers.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on installation skills, and experience with vendor systems. Candidates should have 8+ years in electronics installation, 3+ years in security systems, and be willing to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Military Electronics Training (720 hours) or Electronics Technician program.
• Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• 3+ years electronics installation/maintenance experience.
• 8+ years in electronics installation across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
• Lead toolbox talks, ORMs and safety audits.
• Install and maintain equipment at local and global levels per design packages.
• Program and install head end equipment for IDS, ACS, CCTV systems.
• Troubleshoot systems and hardware across locations.
• Lead on-site software commissioning and testing.
• Document RFIs and project drawings; track progress.
• Support design feedback and coordination with teams.
• Create and manage project schedules; integrate IDS/ACS/CCTV.
• Forecast and manage project labor hours; communicate with supervisors.
• Mentor and guide technicians.
