Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) Business Unit.

You will perform field installations, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electronic security systems across federal, local, and commercial projects. The role requires a strong background in electronics installation, problem-solving, and teamwork, with an emphasis on safety, documentation, and customer communication.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• 6+ years of electronics installation/maintenance across multiple systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• On-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software; test systems for proper operation.
• Lead by example and mentor crew; communicate with teams and customers.
• Ensure safety and quality through compliant processes and inspections.
