Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 for the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit.

The role involves field installations, maintenance, and commissioning across intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, IT systems, and related technologies for federal, local, and commercial customers. The candidate should have 6+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• US citizenship or eligibility for access to classified information; no clearance required

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems
• Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support to customers
• Lead by example, mentor crew members, and ensure safety compliance
• Install and maintain field devices, terminates and tests system components, and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic issues
• Lead commissioning efforts and coordinate with owners and design teams
• Communicate effectively with project teams, other trades, and clients

OSHA 30 certification
