Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will perform field installations, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. The role requires extensive hands-on electronics experience, strong teamwork, and travel up to 25%. You will collaborate with project teams, adhere to safety and QC plans, and contribute to successful project outcomes while developing

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
• Valid driver’s license required
• Travel up to 25% as needed
• OSHA 30 certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software, test systems for proper operation, and provide technical support to customers.
• Lead commissioning activities, document findings, and represent M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams.
• Mentor crew members and provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety plans, QC checks, and project documentation.
