Job summary

KOSTAL seeks a detail-oriented electronics professional to support design, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic products and test systems. Strong soldering and repair experience, multi-project coordination, and collaboration with engineers and interns are essential.

Responsibilities include soldering/desoldering, troubleshooting, design support, inventory management, and ensuring a clean, safe lab environment.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent hands-on experience.
Experience in soldering and electronics repair in lab or production settings.
Familiarity with inventory/data management systems is a plus (SAP).

Responsibilities

Perform advanced soldering and desoldering on through-hole, SMT, wire harness, and microprocessor components.
Troubleshoot embedded electronic systems and diagnose issues efficiently.
Support and coordinate interns and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Design, assemble, and test electrical components per engineering instructions and practices.
Assist engineers with new designs and part sourcing, while maintaining lab inventory.
Test electronics units and analyze results to determine adjustments or repairs.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe lab environment.
Train junior technicians in soldering/desoldering techniques.
