Job summary

KOSTAL is seeking a detail-oriented electronics professional to support design, assembly, testing, and repair of electronic products and prototypes. The role requires strong soldering and repair experience, ability to handle multiple projects, and collaboration with engineers and interns.

The candidate will perform advanced soldering, troubleshoot embedded systems, assist engineers with new designs, and manage parts inventory.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent hands-on electronics experience is required.
Strong soldering/desoldering of through-hole, SMT, wire harness, and microprocessor components.
Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electronic/electromechanical devices.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced soldering/desoldering on various components including microprocessors.
Troubleshoot embedded electronic systems and diagnose issues efficiently.
Support and coordinate interns and manage multiple assignments.
Design, assemble, and test electrical components for products and prototypes.
Assist engineers with development and implementation of new designs.
Source and order parts; maintain inventory for test fixtures and repairs.
Test units using standard equipment and analyze results for adjustments.
Maintain a clean, safe lab environment and assist with other duties.
