Saab, Inc. is seeking a collaborative Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and internationally as needed.

This role focuses on developing category strategies and managing supplier relationships to optimize quality, delivery, cost and sustainability. The position requires extensive sourcing experience, supplier evaluations, spend analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s in Sourcing or SCM.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Q, D, C, Innovation, and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier selection and awarding first-time contracts meeting multiple business unit needs.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Perform market research, analyze trends, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Conduct spend analysis and lead cost reduction initiatives with supplier agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine near and long-term needs.
• Support Saab Small Business objectives and promote diverse supplier base.
• Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews for critical suppliers.
