Saab, Inc. seeks a collaborative Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and beyond.

You will develop category strategies, run supplier evaluations, and manage spend analysis to drive cost, quality, delivery, and innovation in defense programs. You'll partner with internal stakeholders and Saab Affiliates to forecast near and long-term needs, create adaptable supply chains, and promote a diverse supplier base.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering is required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive continuous value improvement across Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and award for first-time contracts.
• Manage approved supplier lists for electronics commodities.
• Support win-biz by vetting and onboarding critical suppliers.
• Analyze data to understand supply base and categories.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends for electronics category.
• Perform SWOT analyses to identify risks and opportunities in electronics.
• Collaborate with Saab internal stakeholders to determine near/long-term needs.
• Create adaptable supply chains for electronics commodities.
• Lead supplier evaluations to understand capabilities and processes.
• Conduct spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and lead initiatives.
• Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews for critical suppliers.
• Support Saab Small Business objectives and promote diverse supply base.
• Develop supplier evaluation methods for data-driven decisions.
• Document processes with SOPs and work instructions.
