Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) in the United States is seeking an Electronics System Designer to sell to builders, architects, associations, property management, healthcare facilities, schools and churches. The role offers a base salary of $50,000 per year plus commission with an average total compensation of $125k–$150k.

You will travel within the territory to call on customers, coordinate orders and installations, demonstrate products, and build lasting relationships to help customers create

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 3 years outside sales experience
• Understanding of distributed audio and video technologies
• Ability to read blueprints and specs
• Valid driver's license and driving record
• MS Office; learn CRM/proposal software
• Proofreading and attention to detail
• Ability to work nights/weekends/early mornings
• Pre-employment background check

Responsibilities

• Compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads
• Regularly visit customers and coordinate orders and installations
• Demonstrate products and present features/benefits
• Develop relationships with builders, architects, associations and end users
• Write sales orders, coordinate deliveries and attend exhibitions
• Travel within territory to call on homebuilders, multi-family builders and apartment owners
